Thank you for this video. I took my car to the dealership because I heard creaking noises on one side of the car. The dealership told me it was the control arm and it needed to be replaced. They never told me about replacing the other side since it's still a new car. But I did go over a bad pothole on the side that was replaced. The car feels like brand new again though. Do you think the dealership cheaped out by only replacing one side? The alignment feels good now too, but still not sure.

Thank you for your video. I just saw it too late I guess.. Today I paid $800 for the replacement of JUST THE RIGHT CONTROL ARM, front and rear brakes.. so I don't understand why my mechanic of years didn't talk to me about replacing both control arms 😢. He did wheel alignment but still.. 🤦‍♀️ I might have to go back to him soon for the left control arm 🤦‍♀️

If one side is cracked only, should both sides be changed

Garage says the right ball joint is bad. The left is not. It can be replaced separately. is a bit cheaper than the whole arm. Car drives and steers very well except for a slight rattly noise. Tires are in good order.
