Yeah, seems okay to me. But it really depends on the resolution of the monitors. SLI gtx 780ti would be the way to go. Also have you looked at the R9 290X? those are made for high resolution and multi-monitor configurations, plus they have new features like Mantle and built in sound cards so you could run audio through your HDMI cable

The 290X is based on the GCN architecture, and the 7000 series have good drivers since 2012, there won't be much gain with new drivers... just like the GTX 780, 770 and 760... they are all based on Kepler and the 600 series have good drivers since 2012, that's way they didn't get much performance improvements after launch...

True but the performance isn't that big where as the 770 to 780 performance is. Maybe there is room to squeeze another card between the 760 and 770, It just seems like a small gap compared to the 770/780 gap (performance wise).

The overclocked 780 is faster than the Titan. So this card might be a game changer.

i rly have nvidia they could have release this months ago also titan was just a market stunt its amazing how fast they drop in price i would like to thank AMD for lowering nvidia prices by 100$

GTX 680 is 0-18% faster than the GTX 580, dependant on which games and its slower at compute due to crippled double performance.

Remember the GTX 680 is a GK104 chip and was really meant to be the mid range cards but the GK100 got cancelled due to bad yields and the GK104 yields were better than expected.

That is not an excuse. Beta drivers or not, the todays drivers are almost as good as the Nvidia drivers. It's just that the future drivers for the 290x will be drivers that makes games more enjoyable and better to play but the test for example "Firestrike", it will barely make a difference.

A £120 gap between 760 and 770 is a fair amount.

here we are with gtx 1080 more than double this and only 180w tdp. and 2ghz clock with 16nm and alot of crazy shit. this will be ancient in about 2 years.

Yes because a 680 apparently preforms twice as good as the 580 and 780 preforms 35% better than 680. So you will get a really nice boost in performance.

nVidia on same performance lvl cost about 30% more than AMD cards. AMD has Mantle (looks its gonna be used in more games than GPU physX) and TrueAudio. You also get about 3times higher performance under OpenCL (HD7900/R9 series, for apps and games that use OpenCL for Global Illumination or physics, etc, ).

Im running 3x 3D moniters with 2x evga 580 superclocked and was going to go for a single 780 gtx ti, think this is a gd move ??? I will prob sli it in a few months, wat u think ?
