Here's the F major scale right hand only. I start with one octave and then do the two. The fingering is clearly shown as is the key signature.

This is the second video in the major scale series, the first being the C major scale.

Our two Golden Retrievers, Sami and Jack, appear at the end as usual!

This is ideal for players coming fresh to the piano or seasoned piano players who want a classical refresh of their scales!

Hilary Burt is a composer, producer and teacher and is based in Worthing in the UK. Her YouTube tutorials are known for their succinct and very clear instructions so you have time to do the important work of composing and playing rather than sifting through long winded videos!

Hi mam, im a beginner, i could play only in C-major and how should i start to learn other key ?? Should i start with scales?

1. Good the you explained why the “unusual” — we need to use finger 4 then roll-under the thumb. 2. It is better to explain a little about the relationship between the F major and putting flat on B. of course, it is music-theory, but we should know music-theory before play, even very simple one. Can just give a pointer, like, the circle of fifths, counterclockwise, Fetch a BEAD —— that should be the beginner should think.
