This was a good review. But I wish you had ended with a statement of what is your favorite. And secondly who should use each of those apps? E.g., app X is good for writers, app Y is better for people with a small business, etc. But your reviews were very helpful.

If you’re Apple-centric, Things 3 has to be on the list as well as Apple’s reminders. If Reminders’ UI or limitations are off-putting, GoodTask runs on top of Reminders and is definitely worth a look. A bit on the fiddly side, but that’s because you can tweak almost everything. And of course, there’s OmniFocus. I confess to a recurring case of shiny new thing syndrome, so I make the rounds periodically. Currently - Things 3. Rock solid, clean UI and (so far) no damnable recurring suckscriptions.

Google Tasks, works with Gmail, Google Calendar etc. It's already there ready to go! Thanks for the rundown Tasia

For years now I have used 2Do - heaps of great features and syncs really well across Mac, iPhone & iPad.
Not free but not that expensive as a one off cost.
I tested a lot of these over the years, but kept coming back to 2Do.
Thanks for another great segment.

I’m looking for a to do list that allows me to make one master list and then click certain task to make a mini list for the day because I typically do the same task over and over again if you have any apps that you’ve come across that are simple and work in this way?

Thanks for the review. I like the music in the background.
For me it's TickTick. And I like to note-down my daily subtasks on paper and in SideNotes (it's fun to use because it's stays on the side and don't clutter up my screen.)

Great video! My system is built on Google Tasks and Microsoft ToDo (which syncs with Samsung Reminder app on my mobile).

An app that has the functionality of Ticktick but the looks of Todoist and / or Things would be perfect!

Cool list but I am surprised Things 3 is not included :) You should test it out... Keep up the great work.

Hello, I miss your content, I know there is a lot of it but I can't understand English well from them 😅 Thank you

It’s pretty insane that this list doesn’t even mention OmniFocus.

I don’t understand why you said ticktick is completely free.

Thank you Tasia,
Been looking for a To do list kind of app for a while now. I still haven't found the right one yet. Google Tasks is so nice but it doesn't have the ability to share lists with other people and I don't like the web version. Microsoft to do is quite nice but you can share lists but can't share groups. Todoist is lovely on android but very inaccessible for screen reader users, of which I am and so are the people I share projects with.
