This performance by Joelle Ferley (from the French territory of Guadalouple) at Villalon Park was one exploring the scarcity of water, bringing a real sense of rural rhythms to the heart of Havana. This performance is simple but powerful and seemed to go down well with the watching audience even if the kids changed the end of the performance when the balloons (representing blood) were supposed to be thrown into the fountain. Performances such as this demonstrate the true international reach of the Biennial.
