Yeah that sucks but i get it. I love Shadows Fall, Killswitch Engage, and All that Remains. Out of the 3 i think Shadows Fall is my favorite but i don't think that my opinion is exactly the favored opinion. Honestly I think the amount of love thrown towards Killswitch over others is a little undeserved.

I believe it. Me and all my friends were deep into the mid 2000’s metalcore scene and shadows fall was never talked about or jammed really

I can see the logic. I am from the generation who only cares about the early days. I only listened to the first few albums, then continued to ONLY listen to the early albums.

In the case of Shadows Fall, "Fallout From The War" was the last album I listened to, and nothing past that.

The same is true of All That Remains. "Overcome" was the last album I listened to, and nothing past that.

A big reason they fell apart was they took a long break, after fallout from the war, not the long hiatus they took a few years later.

I loved this band and still do, but that long break after fallout from the way really destroyed them. Because labels were calling them the next metallica, a little overrated in that regard, however they had the chops and the IT factor to back up that claim

I’m going to be blunt… Shadows Fall were hugely overrated. They did not deserve the same accolades as KsE or ATR.

Their sound is almost amateur compared to the other bands I mentioned.

The singer just isn’t any good either.
