Pro Tip: interrupt enemy's heavy attack(red glowing attack) with force push

When the player is able to travel to a different planet at the start of the game, travel to Dathomir. The enemies give a bunch of XP. I farmed it for about an hour and got 10 skill pts. Goto the meditation spot and keep resting and respawning enemies. Plus the double bladed saber is there.

Thx for sharing!!

Just know when you run out of stims you best get real good at dodging and parrying

Tip: Reflecting lasers with the double blade allows for multiple reflections in rapid succession.

Single blade does more damage, double blade can get you out of being surrounded.

Don't forget to use your abilities! Like leap strike, lightsaber throw, group slow, group push/pull, delayed thrust, switchemup combo.

Increase lightsaber damage ASAP. 3 points but worth.

When enemies glow red for their power attack, I’ve actually found that using that opening for a strike can cause more damage and stagger the enemy.

I've never seen such an entertaining Soulslike game. I've played almost them all, I'm in love with the genre and the challenge. But this has such a fun mechanic, my god

I learned pretty much all of these organically, but they're great tips nevertheless. I've been waiting for a Star Wars game like this since Disney gave LucasArts the ax. I've been enjoying every second of it, even if I've gotten angry at some of the combat stuff.

5:10 I accidentally picked up that blue grenade there by Force pull while in combat with a lot of stormtroopers. And I literally questioned myself "what the hell is thing?". After about 3 seconds it exploded and I died haha

1) You can pull enemies towards you and hold them in the air to use as meat shields for incoming blaster fire (as long as you have enough force energy to keep it up).

2) You can push and pull enemies while wall running! Very useful during certain parts of the game.

3) Pulling enemies so they stagger towards you always gives you a free hit and is an excellent way to start a combo against tough enemies

4) Different enemy types can and will fight each other if you back off and give them enough space. Grab some popcorn and then finish off the victor. NOTE: You will not get the xp if one enemy kills another!

5) When resting at a meditation point, click out and leave literally as soon as you click “rest”. You don’t have to wait for the notification that enemies will be respawned, you can spam the exit button immediately. This saves a lot of time when xp farming enemies over and over.

6) For XP farming Dathomir is THE BEST place to do it early-mid game (not sure about late game, I’m currently playing now). The second meditation point (after you fight the two warriors and swing on the two vines to get to the meditation point) is the best place because enemies are relatively weak and spawn 3 at a time, but give high xp rewards.

7) You can force push the bloated proximity plants towards enemies to make them blow up and damage your foes from a distance. This can also be done to destroy certain structures to reveal goodies and secret areas...

8) You don’t have to have an enemy targeted to parry them. If you’re surrounded, you can still parry any enemy from any direction (even behind you).

9) Throwing enemies into each other damages them all. An achievement can be acquired for doing this.

10) There’s an achievement that can be unlocked for throwing multiple enemies off of cliffs...

11) Hacking other machines with BD-1 allows them to fight for you, and is a great way to get some help on tough enemies. You can also get an achievement for destroying an enemy with a hacked enemy...

12) Most enemies can be countered and staggered when glowing red, either with a strike or with force powers. Bigger/tougher enemies will not be staggered, and should be avoided unless you are confident you can get in a quick strike and dash out.

13) Slowed enemies will ALWAYS return to their normal speed after you hit them ONCE! No matter how weak they are, any damage you deal automatically cancels the slow force power effect.

14) The double-bladed lightsaber is much more effective than the single blade for deflecting numerous blaster shots from multiple enemies (and the blaster enemies with shields). Single-blade lightsabers can deflect shots as well, but cannot keep up when heavily outnumbered and taking heavy blaster fire from all sides. Use the double-blade until you have the situation under control.

15) Explore, explore, explore... Check your map to find out exactly where you need to go to progress the story, and then go everywhere BUT there until you are satisfied you’ve seen/found everything you can. There are a lot of secret areas with interesting lore and/or rewards for finding them, and a great amount of xp can be gained from exploring alone!

16) Don’t forget to revisit previous planets/areas once you’ve unlocked more force powers! Some of the things you find are very very good (extra stims, zip line modifications to go upwards on the line instead of only down, health/force bar upgrades, etc).

17) Enemies will spot you more easily if you have your lightsaber out and ready. Put it away to remain stealthy for as long as possible. However, it’s impossible to completely sneak up on them for an assassination kill, so don’t waste your time trying.

18) Ogdo Bogdo is a piece of shit. If you’re taking him on at the very beginning of the game on harder difficulties, prepare to die. A lot.

Targeting a character is very important. It makes the dodge and perry so much easier.

One of the fun mods for BD-1 allows him to reprogram enemy droids, including probe droids, to fight for you.

Props to the respawn for an actual decent game. Now if only force unleashed had a reboot....

You cam farm infinite skill points albeit a bit slowly. In the Tomb of Miktrull you can keep killing the Tomb Guardians and then rest to gain XP. Rinse and repeat for as long as you want.

You’re able to one shot that alien looking thing in 0:16 if you parry all tree of its attack in a row I’ve done it multiple times.

Tip one: do the button prompt, Tip two: scan stuff. Tip three: open crates. Pointless list is pointless.

2 missed tips
parrying multiple blasters at once, if you get the first 1 perfect keep holding the button and you will parry them all
RPG Stormtroopers once you get force pull you can catch there rocket and shoot it back at them

Thanks for taking the time to make this video you did a good job. If you don’t post videos on YouTube you don’t know the work that goes into producing them ... it’s a lot. I post some, they are pretty crappy and yet they each take many hours to do. You did well.

I’m one of those who saw the first Star Wars (SW) movie when it came out. It was very cool, quite exciting and thoroughly entertaining. The music, sounds, visuals etc. Though I don’t consider myself a SW fan (fanatic), I have watched all of the new SW movies as well (could not get into Clone Wars).

This game is a lot of fun for me (yup, grandpa got game). I sometimes move my character to the edge of a cliff, just stop playing and look around the characters world. The effects are great, the music is spot on, visuals are amazing with plenty of detail, the characters look really good and the storyline is engaging. So that being said, my tip to share is to look around, don’t just play through. Enjoy the world that has been created, enjoy the sounds, hear how the voices are distant and change as you move around, hear how the music enhances the situations that are presented. Interact with things, find those save spots and save the game, and don’t be afraid to have your character die, sometimes it’s pretty funny. You paid $60 US dollars or 20 euros (haha), enjoy it.
