Completely agree on Bellinger. I know he had shoulder surgery at one point, but even so, I never thought he looked or played like a top tier player. The numbers he put up during his MVP season were absurdly out of place to me. He just didn't seem to be at that level. I thought the exact same thing about Christian Yellich. They were both putting up numbers on par with guys like Betts, Arenado, Trout...players who, in my opinion, were substantially better hitters. Was pretty clear to me that they were drastically over-performing. I don't expect either one to ever bounce back to even a borderline All-Star status. Feel a little bad for the guys who heavily invested in them.
