Just found this and I keep listening to it over and over again because of how beautiful it is. And Jimmer Bolden (the soloist), has _such_ a beautiful voice!

I have been going through a rough time. While trying to feel better, I realised that I mostly knew bands playing "dark" moody music. So, in a time where I have needed some powerful joyful music, this video appeared. Thank you so much for sharing!

The mutual smile between conductor and singer/musician is such a deep joy. You can almost see their thoughts.

From “big” to “absolutely humongous” love it

I love this guy. An Asian man, composing music in an African music, sung by people of all ethnicities. It always makes me proud to be human, and hopeful for the future of humanity that such beauty can come from our unity.

1:40 Always get goosebumps watching Jimmer Bolden singing his heart out (it's even more striking when you see his body language -behind the transcription).

Can we just take a second and talk about how AMAZING the male and female lead vocalists are. His voice going from so delicate and almost not audible to booming and so powerful and deep…and the lady whose powerful voice you can feel as you hear and see the power going into producing those notes. 👏😇💗❣️

Christopher Tin also wrote the themes for the Civilization video games, and all of the themes are really epic. The theme for Civilization IV, "Baba Yetu", has The Lord's Prayer in Kiswahili for its lyrics, and was also the first video game soundtrack to win a Grammy. Really impressive composer all around

0:33 that percussionist just makes me so happy. The focus and the flourish. In those few seconds he gave me serotonin

For some reason, this really reminded me of the final scene from The Lion King, or just most ending scenes in Disney Movies. What a great piece of music.

This song is about calling the rain. I was singing this with my partner on the balcony one day and IT ACTUALLY STARTED RAINING! It was amazing. I want to sing this with my choir so badly.

This immediately made me think of Baba Yetu from Civilization IV and lo and behold, same composer!
Incredible composition, and the passion Mr. Tin has while conducting is stunning. Look at him at 2:13!!

The contrast of him singing the more softer tines and then going up to eleven is just awe inspiring, of all of Christopher tins works, this one gets me the most enjoyment 🎉😊

This is to be heard in headphones while flying, as the plane emerges from the storm and clouds, and you can see the sun in the distance through the window.

The also soloist smiling and grooving at the awesomeness at 1:25 is what got me.
