Jeff shares his review, and a bit of a how to play, for Dune: Imperium from Dire Wolf Digital and Legendary Pictures. The game is for one to four players, ages 14+, plays in one to two hours, and will carry an MSRP of $50.00 when it arrives in early 2021. Is this mashup of deck building and worker placement worthy to carry the name of the classic science fiction series? Or should this be left in the desert of Arrakis to be swallowed by a giant worm? You'll find out!

Thank you for the review and preview 👍... I'm the only one who likes the neatness and clean look of the board I guess. O well 🤣.

The board grew on me as I learned about each section.

I'm actually super happy with the board design. It's easy to parse. Some games (Lords of Vegas comes to mind) we had to toss out because they were too annoying to read for my groups.

I am so in for this! Yeah, it would be nice if they simply offered a "Deluxe" version or something for more than the base version, rather than an upgrade kit that costs more than the game, itself! The game looks great, and Dune is one of my favorite novels, so I am sure to be a sucker and get it all.

I keep hearing people commenting on the graphics. I like it. It's clean. Nothing is buried within garish illustration (which really does my head in).
