Full review of the RAZER Thunderbolt 4 Dock Chroma. This dock has 10 ports, can support up-to 2 4K monitors, and has pass-though charging. It also has RGB lights around the front and side which can be customized in the Razer Synapse software. The RGB lights can also be turned off.

This dock is also compatible with Thunderbolt 3 and USB-C 3.2, though you won't get the top speeds (40Gbps) with USB 3.2.

It's also compatible with the new USB 4 standard. So this dock can be used with a wide range of PCs and Macs.

(M1 Macs support only 1 4K display)

The Razer Thunderbolt 4 Dock Chroma is a powered dock that comes with a 135 watt power supply, and can provide up-to 90w of pass-through power to charge your laptop.

*Note: Not all laptops have Thunderbolt/USB-C charging, and some laptops require more than 90w for proper charging.

Ports on the Front:
UHS-II SD Card Reader
3.5mm audio combo port
Thunderbolt 4 port (for connecting to computer)

Ports on the Rear:
Power port
3 Thunderbolt 4 ports (compatible with USB-C devices too)
Gigabit Ethernet port
3 USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports

*Note: Thunderbolt 4 is up-to 40Gbps (or 5000MB/s)
USB 3.2 Gen 2 is up-to 10Gbps (or 1,250MB/s)
USB 3.1 Gen 2 is the same thing as USB 3.2 Gen 2.

The housing is a black aluminum, there is a rubber pad on the bottom, and it doesn't take up much space.

*Note: There's also a white version (called Mercury) that does NOT have RGB lights.

Bottom line: The Razer Thunderbolt 4 Dock Chroma is a high-quality dock that has several ports for connecting devices, provides high data transfer speeds, and has a modern, sleek design with added RGB lights.

This dock is geared towards gamers, but I use it with a production computer (Asus ROG STRIX G16) to create music, and edit videos. I connect three external USB drives, monitor, audio interface, and ethernet to this dock and it works famously. Recommended 👍

An audio out port and the thunderbolt to laptop port ought to be on the back of the dock IMO.
