I have one Siltronix VFO left. It is a model 80. Hooked to a Browning mark 3. All the crystals in the transmitter are shot. I got rid of all my model 90's years ago. Miss those lol. You have that one working great Mike.

How do you change / modify a -1 to a -5 etc.?

That exposed 12VDC stub on the back is a little scary right next to the ground connection! Well, if there's no radio available for it you can always take the bottom cover off and turn it into a Theramin to play a little sci-fi music! ;-)

Mike, can you make a pre-amp, or a booster like Nomad made for these? I picked up the Siltronix info that S9 put out, and he mentions that the Model 90 has low drive for some radios. I would like to have that pre-amp made so I can either put it in my MarkIII or in the Model 90 VFO. Also, I don't remember (ancient Technology) isn't there a mod to change the VFO to what ever model you need, like a 6 to a 3? Thanks for all your videos, I don't know how you have the time. 21
