Words of wisdom from me. If you’re embarrassed about your car, just tint the windows so nobody can see you.

I appreciate all these people buying these new vehicles and hopefully taking care of them so I can buy them in 5-10 years for 1/5 the price. thank you so much

A $1400 car payment doesn’t include insurance, maintenance and gas. These people are getting close to $2K a month just to commute to the car dealership, insane!

I almost died when I heard, "If your truck payment is bigger than your mortgage payment, you might be a redneck." 🤣🤣🤣

The car dealership is trying to normalize outrageous monthly payments

My highest car payment was $406. At that time, I was thinking “never again.” I can’t imagine a $1400 payment.

Serious question:
Could this part of the dealership strategy. To make the consumer seem like their $600 payment is "not so bad". I think this may be a set-up video to trick the consumer. They could reason that "well at least my car payment isn't as high as the guy that works here."

I have not had a car payment in 25 years. I buy 3-5 year vehicles with cash from the owner, no dealer. No car loan, no loan payments is the only way to go for me.

My wife and I own several nice cars. Each one was bought used with cash. When you quit caring what other people think about you, then you are truly free.

See it’s equality, car dealers are ripping themselves off too

I had an $850 car payment on a new Lexus 10 years ago, after I got rid of it I vowed never again. Ive had the epiphany but clearly many have not. Who in their right mind would happily sign off for a $1000 payment. If you can afford the payment, but couldnt afford to put much if anything down, you CANT afford the payment.

I know a guy that made a seven figure income for years. His daily driver is an old Ford Bronco with tons of dings on it. He retired WAY early and has a nice collection of debt free rentals giving him cash. Car payments are so stupid.

The ability to delay gratification. That is hard for many to do in a materialistic society.

That’s crazy, prices went up fast. I paid 11k for my preowned Malibu. And my payment was $201. It’s paid off now. Those payments are ridiculous

I’m the type to keep a car forever, so I don’t care about depreciation or resale value. I’m currently driving an 02 Camry with 364k miles. I hope to buy a new Camry someday (when the vehicle crisis ends), but I’ll be paying cash.

I find it more impressive when truck guys can keep a 30 year old truck running. More impressive than you 1k payment.

Every time I get tempted to be “stoopid” and go buy a new car, I watch Dave Ramsey to knock some sense back into me. Thanks Dave and team! 😅

I still drive the car my parents got me 9 years ago when I passed my test 😂 It works a treat and I'll drive it until the wheels fall off.
