Summary:
In 2013, Apple released two new iPhones, the iPhone 5s and the iPhone 5c, the first time that Apple had released two new iPhone models in the same year. The iPhone 5s was the flagship model, with a number of new features and improvements over the previous iPhone 5, such as the Touch ID fingerprint scanner, improved camera with larger pixels and a dual-LED flash, and a faster A7 processor. The 5c was a more affordable option, with the same 4-inch display and A6 processor as the iPhone 5, but with a slightly larger battery and improved front-facing camera. Despite initial skepticism, both models were well-received by customers and critics alike, and paved the way for future releases that would offer even more options and features for consumers. Apple released three new iPhone models in 2018: the iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max.

The XS and XS Max were the high-end models, with the XS Max having the largest display ever seen on an iPhone. The iPhone XR was a more affordable option with a lower-resolution LCD display and only a single camera. In 2020, Apple released four new iPhone models: the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Lastly we have the iPhone 14 series right now released in 2022 September which comprises of the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Apple sells the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 12 and lastly the iPhone SE(3rd generation).Even though apple wants to provide more options for customers, only some people find it useful that apple provides these many models, whereas most of them get confused which one to get.
