Disturbed's version of The Sound of Silence is incredible, so I had to take it on! This parody is for all the Science doubters and sceptics out there... With thanks to Simon and Garfunkel for their incredible original anthem - one of the best songs I know.

Absolutely brilliant! I am in awe of the degree of commitment you were able to bring to something so contrary to sense and sensibility. Satire is the most difficult form of humor to pull off well and you struck just the right tone of seriousness required to nail it and your vocal performance was just perfect for this wicked song parody. I really enjoyed this, I'm going to need to listen a few more times and save it to my playlist.
I would send this to some of my evangelical relatives in Texas, but I'm afraid they wouldn't understand that it's satire.
Most of them stopped having anything to do with me years ago because I said that Creationism should not be taught in public schools as if it were factual. Most of them believe the earth is only 6000 years old and life did not evolve over billions of years, and fossil records are "fake".

I Adore Simon and Garfinkle... I sang this song as my finale examine in my music class back in "71".
As the oldest and only girl in my family, it had a particular significance for me... I got a B+... I was so nervous I had to restart singing 3 times..
This was so poignantly on POINT.
We have .. Or had a fairly decent educational system here in America... But with all the "NEW" Republican regulations AGAINST intelligent thought... Well .. The Writings on the Wall isn't it.
