These are my top 10 favourite board games I've ever played - including the likes of some new ones such as Marvel Zombicide.

1. Bonfire - jak wzajemnie zazębiają się mechaniki w tej grze, to jest po prostu niesamowite !!

I got a copy of nemesis before the winter Holliday and played 5 or 6 times with my brother. Each play was so much fun and allways made for great stories. Once you get the rules right, it is fluid and just a lot of fun. Only thing is the manual which is not very clear, but after one game and one video on YouTube we got the rules figured out.

I would say that for me one of the best games out there is 7 wonders. Its a game i played for so many years but its a taking a back seat for newer games.

My all time favorite board game is BattleCON, which simulates a fighting video game. There are about 100 characters in the full roster, each with their own play styles and gimmicks, meaning no two matchups are the same. Plus, there are tons of variations, such as stages with bonuses or hazardous environments, equipment and items, dungeons to go through and boss battles, team, survival, and tournament matches, etc.

But honestly, all the variations are just icing, because the base game is epic on its own. I've played over a hundred matches and am still discovering strategies and combos with my favorite characters and playing matchups for the first time.

This is a full information game like chess. There are no dice rolls or lucky draws. You win by out playing the opponent(s), and very rarely is there ever a draw.

Surprised no Stonemaier Games at all. You hit close to the mark with root but games like scythe wingspan viticulture etc. Agree with nemesis, cosmic encounters and thing. Have not played mansions but have been busy with arkham horror and eldrich horror. Mansions and the thing are on my list.

Fun list! I think we’re very different gamers though. My list would be full of Euros. I like area control games too, but prefer Cthulhu Wars, Cyclades, and Inis to Blood Rage. Summoner Wars (1st Edition) was my number one when I did my recent ranking list on Pub Meeple.

I can't say what my actual nr1 is, but my top 3 is Nemesis (& Lockdown), Etherfields and Perseverance, followed by Dead of Winter, Lost ruins of Arnak & Everdell.
