I just love how he struggles to land without leaving a crater, LOL

"They've got some kind of heavy artillery."
Hancock: "So it will tickle more, gotcha."

"It's not easy being the last of my kind. But you expect more from me, and you're right. I can be better, and I WILL be better." great speech.

No superhero landing, no acting all mighty or heroic, Just a super-strong guy walking towards the enemy while saying hello to people, He is the best superhero for me!

Excellent movie. There was a stretch of 10 years or so when Will Smith seemed incapable of making a bad movie. Can't believe it's been 14 years since Hancock. Wow.

14 years and a ton of MCU and DCAU movies later, and this right here is still one of the (if not the actual) best cooperation between superheroes and first responders put to screen.

1:19 Love how he kept saying good job through the fire fight.

Hancock being more effective with the Destructo Disc than Krillin ever was.

I love that he really tried not to undermine their work. That "good job" comes off as awkward, but it's clear he does respect these people and what they're doing here

I wish this movie had a sequel or a TV series or a comic book or a video game, I just want to see more of this guy.

it's quite funny how dozens of reporters not only want to hang just a few feet around an active shootout with heavily armed criminals but cops also let them, and none of the thousands of stray bullets hit any of them

The whole “call me that one more time” is very similar in tone and deliverance to another very popular will smith event that took place not that long ago

It did not occur to me as a kid how well he performs in this scene as if he's JUST recovered from a major hangover lol

this movie is a good representation of how someone with super-human powers would be treated by society in real life

Just a story about someone struggling to discover their purpose. I can totally relate to that.

Honestly, this movie was way better than it got credit for.

underrated movie. some rough parts in how they portrayed the relationship with the ex but of superhero movies only second to the avengers saga in heart and comedy, and first in actually deep personal issues (identity, belonging, abandonment, alcoholism, responsibility, calling, etc). one of my favorites

"call me an asshole one more time" best line in the movie 🤣

Why the hell are they robbing the bank? All that ammo, C4, guns, armor is like millions already

"No, YOU good job" was where my happiness peaked for him.
