I have 2 Seastar 1000's. One green one blue. Just purchased the 2000 in the lighter blue dial. 5 Tissots altogether and love them all. I rarely wear my Omega and Hamilton. The Tissots are great watches

A lot of people complain about the size of the Tissot 2000, if you were actually going to dive you want a large watch with great loom I dove for many years but for a daily watch I prefer 39 mm 40mm . Nice Review 👍

Great review Joe. Glad to see you got one awesome Seastar 1000, this one is truly beautiful and ticks all the boxes. 43mm case is on the bigger side, but with a lug-to-lug of 49mm is absolutely doable. Love it brother 🙌 Enjoy it 👍 Take care and God bless .

I tried the Tissot divers today. I have a 7 inch wrist. The 40mm looks tiny and silly. The 46mm on the brick 2000 Seastar is a bit over the top. The 43mm 1000 Seastar is in the Goldilocks zone. Amazing quality and specs for the price. The black bezel with the green dial looked great.... I immediately tried a Longines Hydroquest 43mm and was underwhelmed. With a ceramic bezel it's 2000 euro. I checked out the Hamilton Khaki Frogman and the numbers on the bezel aren't very clear and in general the dial is too 'busy' on the Scubas. So, top of my wishlist now is this Tissot 1000 with a target price of around 600 euro 2nd hand. With the improvements they've nailed it, and I'm never gonna look at the date window in that detail... Thanks for the review.

Beautiful watch huge upgrades in 2023. Love the 43mm bezel doesn’t look like a kids watch. Bracelet is gorgeous I love the polish stainless steel down the middle and I’m VERY happy the band does not taper that’s is so late 80’s style that Movado used to do. With 80 hours power reserve, Swiss made, beautiful glass my personal favourite is the Greek blue dial face. Read the instructions so the crown seals water tight in a forward motion. Many forget this part thinking the watch is sealed shut but the crown needs to be wound forward so it shuts tight like a water faucet.There should be zero gap between the crown and the bezel so you know it’s tightly sealed the crown should not be able to turned forward anymore. Enjoy the watch it’s gorgeous and great price!!

This would be a nice alternative for anyone that doesn’t want to pay double the price for an Oris.I say that because it gives me Oris Vibes.I have the Quartz Seastar 1000(chrono)and I absolutely LOVE IT.

Are you sure that the movement has silicon spring? Cuz tissot sells the silicium powermatic 80 separately in other watches like the gentleman!?

Just recently brought this watch I have the aqua blue textured dial and it’s beautiful I’m over the moon with the watch, my date window is fine doesn’t show any of next date at all…
