The thing about Tug of War is that you don’t just want strong players, but fat players too. They may not help pull as much, but they add weight to your side that will make it much easier for YOU to pull

One thing I noticed with the games in season 1 and season 2 is that the season one games are more focused on pitting the players against each other and the season 2 games are based on making the players work together

The season 1 games like Marbles, Tug of War and Squid Game have the players fight each other to succeed against the other

The season 2 games like Six-Legged Pentathlon & Mingle have the players work with each other to win
My theory is because of the higher numbers of players at the end of Red Light Green Light in season 2, they did more teamwork based games because in those games if one person fails everyone dies, it was an attempt to thin the numbers.

If you've never played Gong-Gi before, let me tell you firsthand you'd be completely screwed.

Mingle sounds fun. The glass bridge is not even a game anymore. You're pretty much destined to lose since there is no strategy. They even fuck up the glass inspector professional guy. Most unfair one that just wants you to lose. There is a jacket rope strategy that I think Film Theory came up, is to try and break and find out which one is the fragile glass. If Squid Game final part has that game, I would love to see someone try that strategy

By far the hardest games were
-tug a war
-glass bridge
-6 legged race
-mingle

All those games were heavily based on luck instead of your actual skills at the game. Like how skilled your teammates are or if you can even find teammates. And your almost guaranteed to lose at glass bridge

The math teacher in s1 say'd he had less then 1% survival change in Glass Bridge. Thats insane.

I’m a flincher. I would die in Red Light Green Light from flinching from gunshots.

i think the minigames is more deadlier than the others except for the bridge, while everyone surviving is likely, it takes one screwup in the team and its game over, remember its not a team effort when its time to play the minigames themselves aside from emotional support, in games like the carousel doors, you can manipulate the chances of winning by kicking out the contestants or straight up off them or even join a door thats lacking a number, the red light green light you can probably do a run and dive each turn, the tug of war you could say its an actual teamwork game since each of you are lending your strength but the minigames/legged race needs every individual to do their part in the team without you physically helping, sure in the show a lot of people won, but irl theres highly likely of a chance that at least 1 person in a team doesnt know what they're doing or got the end of a stick like only knowing how to play a game that another person in the team knows better or heck, a person just freezes/fumbles due to the pressure and having to do all the games sucessfully in 5 minutes at a time, theres just so many variables in that game to screw up that most of the players getting out of there alive was unrealistic

Games and strategies to win

Red light green light: Balance
Honeycomb: Steady and careful cutting
Tug of war: Strength
Marbles: Betray your partner
Glass bridge: Go for last 3 numbers and luck
Squid game: Speed and fighting skills
Pentathlon: Teamwork
Mingle: Pair up with other players

It doesn't matter. The game creators choose the game depending on the approximate number of people they want for the next round. Assuming the games conclude with a winner, everybody but one will be killed. I would suspect the winnings being divided and shared if the games are voted to be stopped was only put in for the current games to test if Gi-hun could actually stop the games giving him the best chance possible.

Bro the only lesson I’ve learned from this show is that you can never trust 001 in a Netflix show

I think the thing that most people overlook for red light green light is that people could push you and you could flinch due to the loud gunshots

If I knew about all of these games up-front, and I was forced to pick any of these games, this would be my tier list.

S-tier: Marbles (just pick any sort of strategy game where you have a 100% chance to win, like Nim. OR I could just get off scott-free if I was aware that not finding a team doesn't eliminate you)

A-tier: Honeycomb (my only real worry here is that the cookie wouldn't be baked properly and it would crack due to circumstances outside of my control, or I'll simply get startled by a gunshot and make a mistake).

B-tier: Squid Game (even though I have no idea how it's played or how it would change based on if knifes were involved,

C-tier: Glass Stepping Stones (Bruh I am afraid as fuck of heights, I would just slip due to anxiety. It would have been easier if the high drops were replaced with landmines or something instead).

D-tier: Tug of War (I likely won't get a good team, and there's no real way to convince people to let them join me).
Red Light Green Light (Even though I would be fine during the initial shock, I could very easily make a small mistake or get knocked over).

F-tier: Mingle (the only way how I could survive is if I knew what the numbers would be up-front and even then I have to find a specific group in time)
6-legged-relay (the only way how I could survive is if I had days of practice time before the game even started so I could practice that dice game over and over with the exact size of the table (as that seems to be the most difficult one), but even then I'd still be at the mercy of the person with the spinning top.

This is how i think i would survive or if i would survive squid games.

Red light green light:I'd survive.
My strategy is to go as far away from people as possible, run fast but also stop moving when it is green. Basically the easiest game.

Dalgona: I'd survive. I'd pick triangle, spit in the cracks and let it soak.

6 legged pentathlon:I may die or may not. I'd pick ddakji and use physics to my advantage, instead of throwing the red ddakji in a perpendicular position, i'd hit the other ddakji with my ddakji on the flat side. I'd hopefully find people who are good at the other games like gong gi, spinning top and jegi and throwing rock. If i cant get ddakji, i'd try throwing rock. I'd get in a good position and angle.

Mingle:I'd get to an empty room, and scream for other lonely people to come, unless it is just 1 in each room. I would try to not let panic get to me. I think i may die in this one tho.

Tug of war:I'd pick a strong but also smart team. Once again, i may die in this one.

Glass bridge:I probably would die. Luck is NOT on my side. But if i had something to throw, i may win due to listening to the sounds. I'd pick 13, since anything lower is risky due to players waiting too long, but anything higher is scary too.

Marbles:I'd pick a throwing game(whoever throws it closest to a wall), and get myself into a good angle and position.

Squid game:Yeah, i would die. I'd pick attack, and sort of just stab the other player and rush to where i have to go.

Monkey bars(possible game in S3):i'd try and find a way to get a better grip of the bar, and not rush myself but not go too slowly. I could die.

London bridge(possible game in S3):Aint no way im losing this. I can just rush through.

Human chess(possible game in S3):Uh..what? How would that even work?

Easiest to hardest games:
1)Glass bridge.
So 50/50..almost impossible to win unless luck is on your side.
2)Mingle
Really a panic game where you dont get to make many strategies, and have to think fast.
3)Tug of war.
Im weak. I'd die.
4)Squid game.
No. Just no.
5)6 legged pentathlon.
Depends on the mini game but also on what team i am.
6)Monkey bars.
Just get a good trip, dont rush through.
7)London bridge.
I'd rush through whenever i see im close to the bridge.
8)Human chess
???
9)Red light green light
Easiest one by far.
I didnt include lights out because this is barely a game, but i'd die in lights out unless im hidden really well or have a good team. And i didnt include rock paper scissors or russian roulette cause they barely are games, but yeah i'd die in those, the odds aint in my favor.

My ranking of difficulty would be: (High to low)

1. Glass bridge (no joke absolute hell unless you're the last one)
2. Tug of War (strength is key and most women and elderly would be done for, cause Ilnam won't be there every time)
3. Squid Game (Again strength is required and there are no rules)
4. Mingle (you may not find a team and there might be fighting and pushing)
5. 6 Leg Race (The mini-games are easy but your teammate might bail and F up)
6. Red Light Green Light (do not move in the scare, use Gihun's strategy or take long flat foot strides and you're good)
7. Dalgona (super easy if you have easy shapes, umbrella is difficult but if you be calm then its easy even without the licking if you focus enough and are not disturbed by the killings)
8. Marbles (just betray your partner or use skills. Its simple, choose an easy game which you're confident on, let your partner win a round or two to let them gain confidence and not change the game and then rapidly win a few then let them win and then eventually defeat them)

My opinion.
