i agree with these except the dating your brother thing. as someone with a brother, if my friend likes my brother and the feeling is mutual, who am i to tell them they can’t date simply because we are siblings/friends? maybe it’s just my opinion.

i used to accept when my old friends didn’t do these things but when i found a friend group who actually does all these things i kind of realized that i really was being treated like shit

I didn’t realize how crappy my “friends” are till I think bout it. Like I feel as if they never rlly care about things I’m passionate about it when I talk about things I’m proud of. And then when I distance myself from them and don’t open up to them they get offended as if they genuinely care.

i also think a big one for me is also responding first. sometimes i’m never reached out to and yk sometimes it makes me feel like i’m not appreciated as much as i’m appreciating them if that makes sense
