My Klairs Vitamin C never got yellow... and wasn't super oily in texture? I used it as my first vitamin C. I think you got a dud, but I doubt it will be something you enjoy given its limited effectiveness.

Klairs has some good products, try the unscented toner, the midnight blue calming cream and midnight sheet masks - all are awesome.

So glad to see Huxley reviewed! No one covers them. I can’t be without the anti-gravity cream. Smells lightly lilacs, I think. Dissipates quickly - super rich for dry skin. I have rosacea and it doesn’t irritate. Highly recommend! 💜💜💙💙

I looove dear Klairs! My favorite line is the Fundamental line.. the Watery Oil drop, the water gel cream, and the Midnight blue calming cream are my top 3!

You are in my favorite beauty lane! The Banila & co cleanser was reformulated when they did the repackaging. It used to have mineral oil. I think the moisturizers are lighter because they assume you have a bunch of layers beneath🤷‍♀️I think you will love the Benton Aloe Toner ( it’s like the bubble toner you like in that there is a small amount of salicylic acid). I don’t love the Klairs Vitamin C as 2 of the three bottles I went through turned yellow too. I didn’t love the texture either. Their best product is the calming cream. I love Huxleys scent and would buy it as a perfume! So thank you for letting me known it’s Bobbi Brown Beach! I can’t wait to try that lotion. Their oil serum is actually very nice! I have tried almost all of pyunkang yul and can’t wait to see what you think and have had the rovectin lotus cream in my cart for a while! One last thing... I agree about the stripping cleansers! (Soon Jung and Pyunkang Yul being the worst offenders!) the Sioris cream cleanser is my favorite on the market. The cosrx honey cream and the im from rice cream are THICK!!! Love you and your content!

I love Pyunkang yul. The toner is great to layer if you have dry skin, I could see a total difference. Everyone was raving about Huxley years ago, im not into it.

Glad to see some reviews of Benton! Their eye cream is one of my favorites ever, and I really love their green tea toner. I definitely want to try more of that brand. Also, wanted to note your hair looks really nice in this style!

Random series of comments:

1) Kelly Driscoll is another YouTuber that does a lot with Korean Skincare. You two have similar review styles in that you share personal opinions, but also the reasons behind why you like the products and who they may work for. I feel like you may enjoy some of her reviews if you're trying to narrow the scope of your Korean skincare push.

2) The "best" Korean cleansers I've tried have been the jelly cleansers. Peach & Lily, Krave Beauty and I've heard "Then I Met You" are all nice. I find the foaming cleansers are always too drying for me and the milky cleansers often don't feel effective enough or leave a bit of a film.

3) Regarding the snail filtrate, you may already know this but the percent filtrate listed does not indicate directly the amount of snail mucin. Some brands use more diluted filtrates than others and the industry isn't very transparent. I also like the 96% essence though.

4) I recommend a good sale at Wishtrend over YesStyle or Stylevana for the Wishtrend brands. I still really like YesStyle/Stylevana, though as a third option I'll toss in StyleKorean which has some great flash sales, but requires an $80 purchase for free shipping.

5) Sioris and Wonder Haru Haru brands get a lot of hype. As with many of the best Korean brands I feel they provide some nice "supplement" skincare that boosts overall skin health without having superstar actives like vitamin C and Retinol.

I quite like the pyung kang yul line. I bought my mother a repair set awhile ago., as well as the Huxley gravity cream. But she's a bit stubborn in trying anything new and seems to like her l'oreal only. I'll probably be given it back at some stage. 😂 Plus I saw someone had a huge bottle of a ceramide cream from them that I'd like, I can't remember where I saw it as I only watch you and Sarah from no bs. But it sounded interesting. I'm currently looking at amino acids for the skin, don't hear it talked about much though. Love the review videos. 💚🌼

I love the Dear Klairs Watery Oil Drop! Also, if the Cosrx snail works for you, no need to change it! I have used like 5 bottles of Soon Jung toner - when something is right for you, embrace it 😁

Speaking from a perspective of normal/oily skin, the Nooni whipped cleanser was waaay too drying. I’ve been surprised multiple times by that with Kbeauty cleansers. So I use them for hand washing or body 😐 not what I was expecting!
I remember lusting after Huxley a few years ago but never could justify the price :)
I’ve only bought from YesStyle and CosRx but wondered about SokoGlam and StrawberryNet (is that still around?)
I’m here for all the kbeauty content!! 🙌🏽

I never had a yellow Dear Klairs vitamin c 🥺 I loved the mask in conjunction with it. Maybe you got a bad one?? Pyunkang yul has been so helpful for winterizing my skin. Gentle and super nice for dry skin. I’ve been wondering about Huxley and I don’t mind a little fragrance or alcohol if formulated well. Thank you for doing what you do!!

Have you tried the Soonjung line of Etude House? It’s one of those popular no-frills lines in Korea which mostly gentle for the face, similar to Cerave, Cetaphil. I’m not sure if you’re interested to these kind of skincare though.

I had the Klairs Vitamin C serum and it was clear, maybe its gone bad 🤨 That sucks. I laughed when you said its kind of expensive and wrote that how you know I'm into k-beauty lol I'm the same way and totally get it

I also have that sheet masks in tissue box but in a different brand called Apieu and I found them to be small for my face. I have to stretched out them out hahha
