What was supposed to be an eight-day trip appears to have turned into a nearly nine-month journey, as NASA announced Saturday that it will not bring two stranded astronauts back to Earth aboard the troubled Boeing Starliner. Instead, they will have to wait until February 2025 to return on the SpaceX Crew Dragon. Mark Strassmann has the latest.

Boeing messes up airliners and messes up a space ship. At least they're consistent.

Boeing saying their rocket is still safe. Guess they are willing to take that gamble with others lives. Again.

"If it's Boeing, I ain't going"

let me fix Boeing's statement for you

"We continue to focus, first and foremost, on our income and stockholders. We are covering up the mission as suggested by NASA, and we are preparing the spacecraft for a unknown chance that it will ever return to earth."

Let's face it once highly revered Boeing couldn't build a functioning potato peeler today. They even murdered two whistleblowers to cover up how effed up they are.

Being from Seattle, Boeing was our local giant and was reveered... but they killed themselves when they moved their HQ out of Seattle... they seperated the decisions from the engineers... instead of an engineering company they became a stock profit mining company, started outsourcing everything and relying on bribing government bureaucrats for contracts. It has been beyond tragic watching the slow suicide of an American Icon... I only pray someone can step in and save them...first step would be to fire all current executives, move HQ back to Seattle and rebuild the engineering from the ground up. I can only hope.

"Thats ok, it's a test flight". We used to take drastic steps to avoid these issues. There are some things where profit driven just says, "how many bodies before they notice?"

Let's just hope the staff at NASA don't go missing or commit self-deletion
