Larissa Martínez is among those who have struggled to reintegrate into Honduran society after being deported from the U.S. in 2021 with her three children. Driven by economic desperation and the absence of her husband, who had migrated and left her for another woman, the single mother sought a better life in the U.S. (AP Video/Fernanda Pesce)

She can’t believe that Americans would not open their doors and give her and her children priority over homeless Americans who are even veterans of this nation.

That's so surprising that these countries have made no provisions for the return of their CITIZENS. Maybe we see a problem there that they missed

It's about time those countries who loved to dump their poor folks on America to feel what we've been dealing with for decades. They need to take care of their own people so they don't want to leave their home countries

If you have nothing to offer your children? they are suffering from cold, hunger and so on… why have them? I never understand that logic…

You came to the United States and expected free food, free housing, free healthcare, free education. Why don't you expect that from your own people???

I live in Colorado this morning I heard on the local TV station that my state is cutting funds to a program that provided health care to low income kids with autism at the same time they are adding funds that provides free health care to illegal aliens. The state also has a 1 billion deficit in its budget this fiscal year..

And a single mom to boot. Where’s the father? Her problem is not so much Honduras but her life choices.

For the lady speaking, did she use her time in America to become a citizen? Evidently not, as she's deported. What job did she hold here? How many benefits did she get and for how long?

He said people in his country depend on money from illegals in the US. Now that is just wrong. They need to seek help from there own government and country!
