Blue Oyster Cult - Live 1980 - Black & Blue (DVD)

I believe the Brazilian DVD "Black & Blue" was recorded from a Pro Shot LD version of this movie, recorded during the tour with Black Sabbath, 1980, for the "Cultösaurus Erectus" tour.

This was a great concert, I seen this tour at MSG 1980 Sabbath and BOC it was great, Bass player kicks butt love him, BOC rocks always

~~ has been some different rumors as to why the official release of this DVD for the U.S. market was shelved some years ago - some said Sharon Osborne pulled the plug because they were billed as Black Sabbath but Ozzy was not in the line-up - then Buck Dharma said he'd heard Tony Iommi did not want it released - if Buck is correct that would imply that Iommi felt Blue Öyster Cult had bested them - at least on that night. I saw the tour within just a few days of the NY show at the Capitol Centre near D.C. - BÖC opened the show - and they were the better band on my night - that is not to say Sabbath was poor - they were actually quite good - but BÖC was just better IMO ..
