You are invited to a rare, spectacularly cool, musical and cinematic event! Ransom Note Productions is proud to announce the filming of ‘Live at the Midway- A Rockumentary’ produced by Billy Squire. This special matinee show will feature the music of Rick Berlin and the Nickel and Dime Band, The Hi-End, Erin Harpe and the Delta Swingers and Fur Purse. All on the same stage in a community supported, feature length Rockumentary about our local, favorite live performance venue The Midway Cafe. While a multitude of music venues in Boston have folded in the last few years due to the onslaught of condominiums, the Midway remains defiant in its individuality and belief in personal freedom, ensuring that the community of Jamaica Plain remains the creative hub for artists and performers that call it their home.
