Alright this comment is going to piss some people off but if it means it will actually save lives then I'll take the heat.

People who are transgender and/or identify as trans. You NEED to be fully transparent to your partner when you first get together. I get that this is something you would hate to do and other people will say they need to accept trans people but that's not reality.
If your partner doesn't want to date a trans person, they will NOT date a trans person. END OF STORY.
Never neglect or willingly withhold telling them your sex identity as this can result in severe consequences, you could get beaten up or worse as seen here.
When you decide to disclose your trans identity, do it in a public place with plenty of witnesses incase things go south.
I will say what this guy did to Nikki was vile and he needs to be locked up for his actions, I wanted to take this time to instead use this tragedy as a teaching moment on why full transparency is important.
Again, it doesn't matter how much you beg, plead, or even gaslight and shame, if your love interest doesn't want to date trans people, they will not date trans people.
Not following this warning will mean you're constantly playing Russian Roulette with your life everytime you meet someone new. You never know how they're gonna react to the revelation that you're transgender. It is a risk you should never take, please learn from Nikki's mistake and stay safe. 🙏
