It actually turned out that the Do Not Disturb was turned on. The phone would ring but the display would not show anything. I am not sure how a ringing phone is "do not disturb". thought you would like to know.

Guiding Tech Thank you for this video. It worked. 😊💖 The suggestion to check if “Do Not Disturb”. It was on which caused my problem with not being able to look at my phone and see who was calling without touching my phone or the caller ID popping up on my screen while using it. I turned that off and it’s back on Do Not Disturbed on a scheduled timeframe from 10p.m. to 7a.m. while I sleep. Instead it was on Until I turn it back on or something like that.

I had a similar issue with my OnePlus 7T. I checked the notification settings for the Phone app in settings to toggle it on to restore notifications. But, I could not do it since the notification settings page for the Phone app showed the message "at your request android is blocking this app's notifications". Then I did an Apps Reset in Phone Settings. That worked for me. To do the App Reset, go to Settings > System > Reset Options > Reset app preferences > Reset apps. After you click to confirm the Apps Reset, the issue will get resolved. Give it a try.

My call screen is showing on notification but is not displaying over other apps or on the screen I've tried everything help

I n my case it was a brand new phone and the fix for whatsapp was in Settings, Apps, clicked Whatsapp and the notification turned them on. Thanks for the help

Was not getting call notifications on my OnePlus 7T. Accessed the Phone Manager settings. The resultant screen did not have the option to turn on the notifications. Instead, it showed the following message: "Android is blocking this app's notifications from appearing on this device". Tried clearing the Storage and Cache of the Phone Manager app (in the settings) and that solved the issue. Now my phone is working fine.

Thank you. My problem was I was in Do Not Disturb through Android Auto. I used to let it Auto launch on Bluetooth but it annoyed my son who I let listen to music on my car speakers sometimes. So I turned off auto launch and manually launched when I need it in the car. Guess what? Auto launch closes it automatically but it was staying open in the background for days launching manually. Wanted to share in case it affects anyone else

After doing all the things you told I have also formatted my phone, update to other country OS but still having the problem.
Here is my issues (Samsung Note 9 SM-960U)
1. When I got a call, sound is ok, vibration is ok, I can receive my call through volume up key all ok, but there is no display.
2. Sometimes got display ok, proximity is also working fine, after call the display wont come back. I have to press power button and biometric sensor for several times to get the display back.
3. Last thing is when the phone is in power saver mode, everything is working fine.
Your help would be highly appreciated.

I'm using bliss os, i have also faced this issue but i do few things after that it is working perfectly. i did all the things as said in video but one thing i should mention here that kindly check is your phone app selected as default or not if not then make it default dialer app or phone app.
