I am shocked that both Trump and Hunter were found guilty on felony crimes with what both seem like minor things to me. But, what I think this reflects is that the American population is hungry for more law and order. The 'exhausted majority' is tired of seeing people getting away with all sorts of crimes with no consequences. This is what the jurors are loudly proclaiming. I really do not think it is a democratic/republican thing.
