Claire Pommet aka Pomme, french singer/songwriter who i just discovered thanks to her collab with Aurora, Pomme has some amazing songs on her own, i dont speak french but her music speaks to me, to me, to me 😁

Pomme (spoken without e) is part of Aurora's new album with this song. Is the first collaboration of Aurora that has made it into an album. The two are great together.
And once again the live version is better than the studio version. Here they sing more with each other.
Aurora wrote this song and Pomme rewrote her part of it a bit that everything fits so wonderfully with the two different languages. The two really met for the first time after the release of the album, when Aurora was in Pomme's country through her tour. And they also sang together at one of Aurora's concerts.

This was right after Aurora and Pomme first met (not counting Zoom, email, etc.) They’ve said they want to work together again. The piano at the end should be Aurora playing, sounds like it’s mixed in from the album track.

Aurora is being vague about especially these lyrics, wanting people to find their own meaning, but said this as a general statement:

“I do often feel like this world is trying to make me focus on all these great miracles. And somehow I feel like it makes me miss out on the small ones. And that is sad. Because the small miracles happen all the time. Sometimes several times a day. And I want to see all of them. Because everything matters.”

As a little girl in Norway Aurora spent a lot of time alone in the forest with the animals day and night. She started making up melodies about 6 years old and writing songs about 8. Was terrified of performing at first but wanted to share her thoughts. Like in Runaway at the Noble Peace Prize concert. Another different happy Aurora is in one of her latest, Cure For Me. She’s bi and against the conversation therapy practiced in some countries including her own.

On the album Pomme only sings the last part in french with Aurora on the backing vocals, but in this video Pomme could sing in the chorus as well 👏🥰

About the song:

Interviewed by Bedroomdisco, Aurora said:

"I wrote it a long time ago, quite early in the process and I already knew with that song that it was a part of the vibration that I wanted the album to be.
To me it's about - which is an important keyword for me, because it can be about something different for everyone -, but it's about two things. If you listen very carefully, it's a beautiful and a sad story. There's something ominous about it too. But also something extremely beautiful. It's about these people, the you and them, me in the song, and they are going through something which forces them to think about life differently, and they look at each other and they look around themselves and they just grasp that time is slipping out of their fingers too quickly.
I look at everything and am imagining in the end of the song they drive this car out to a sunset, and they watch one very last sunset together and... there's a fear that you miss out on all the beautiful things.
There is so much beauty in this world, the small things as well."

On a livestream by Pomme, Aurora further recounted how their collaboration came to be:

"I made my album in a castle in Norway, and it has French history. And this man lived in this castle like hundreds of years ago, and he was French, Marcus Gerhard. And he loved art and music and he celebrated and invited people, and I thought it would be a nice way to honour this French castle by having you (Pomme)”

Aurora later explained to Apple Music:

"I don't normally do features. I knew a bit about [Pomme] because she's extremely sweet and very talented. I wanted to include some Frenchness on the opening song as a gift to the castle that gave me a lot of the inspiration to finish this album. I asked her if she could write the ending of my song in French, and she wrote a beautiful story about the flowers we picked in all of your favourite places. It is an ode to The Barony Rosendal (the castle in Norway)”

Great, M&G. So lovable. So much great and amazing material on her new album, it's just unbelievable. Take them one by one, please. Quite a few videos out already - Cure for Me, Giving in to the Love, Exist for Love, Temporary High and not to forget the beautiful Vevo live version of Heathens. And great lyric videos of You keep me Crawling, Exhale Inhale and Blood in the Wine, plus more. Can't explain how much I love that album. 😊

They make such a great team hope to see some more of these collaborations. I began cheking Pomme and she's so freaking good. Love this song the lyrics are so good and the music arrangement with that exceptional piano so freaking good!
Also watched a conversation between Aurora and Pomme ad they seem to have some plans for the future so let's see
