Good to see Buick still being the New Symbol for Quality in America.

Buick is the best . I had a 1990 skylark it never left me stranded .And I remember going months without changing the oil and it still worked .The only problem I had was the head gasket and that was after 120k miles.

the previous generation silverados are actually quite reliable. I've had mine for 6 years pretty much problem free

This seemed to me more like another least reliable video. I watched the actual Least Reliable video and thought "Oh good! They have a most reliable video too." But this pretty much ended up being Least Reliable 2.

My dad owns a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Despite the fact that it's had to be worked on for recalled parts multiple times, the car is actually really reliable.

The words reliable and American do not even make sense to be used within the same sentence.

There is no such thing as a reliable american car.

Every GM and Chrysler car my parents ever owned where complete shit. Ford isn’t too bad. The most reliable cars I’ve ever owned was a 98 corolla with 250000 miles before I sold it still running and surprisingly my 2005 mustang gt has been very reliable. 15 years old now with 105000 miles on it and she still runs beautifully. Besides basic maintenance I’ve only had to replace the alternator which took me less than an hour with basic tools. Pretty much just a small A ratchet set worked.

I don't understand why people think that Toyota and Lexus is an American brand it is a Japanese brand same with Nissan and Suzuki

I can’t actually believe you guys are saying Fords and Buicks are reliable, especially based on things like their infotainment systems rather than the actual terrible engines and transmissions.

0:10 Buick the most reliable!? HA!! 😝 👎 Bullshit!!!🐂💩
I have a 2012 Enclave that I have babied the hell out of, changed the oil when needed, and taken top-tier care of since I bought it new in December 2011. Well folks, I recently had to shell out nearly $1600 to fix a bad fuel pump and fuel pressure sensor. However the real kick in the ass for me was this Enclave has just 64, 000+ miles on it; I have a 2004 Nissan Frontier and a 2003 Infiniti I35 (another Nissan) both of which have nearly 120K miles on it and guess what....the fuel pumps/systems are STILL working! A friend of mine had to replace the fuel pump on his 2002 Toyota Four Runner that had over 250K miles on it. Total job replacement cost? Just under 700 bucks! GM, your comments? *sound of crickets*
I'm an American but sorry, but I am 100% DONE with American made vehicles. 30+ years ago it was sky-high to work on a Japanese or German made vehicle but nowadays it seems like those roles have reversed themselves. Either way I'm not buying anymore American made shit.

CR is truly a bullshit consumer group when it comes to cars.
I have owned several Chrysler products and they seem to outlast any other automakers both foreign and domestic.
Currently, I own a 2012 grand caravan and knock on wood, it has never broken down on me and left me stranded.
Sure I have minor problems such as rear passenger side hub and bearing needing replacement but that was the only issue I have had so far in the more than 5 years I have owned it.
The rest of the issues are normal wear and tear such as brakes, wipers and tires.
It has also over 115000miles on it.
All it boils down to is proper maintenance and I find many Chrysler owners don't maintain their vehicles very well. How do I know?
I have worked at many automotive shops and Chrysler dealerships and many Chrysler have one thing in common and that is they are poorly maintained.

Fancy luxury brands having more problems than normal counterparts?
Audi- blows VW reliability out of the water
Infiniti- A lot more reliable than Nissan
Lexus- a constant game of who is more reliable Lexus or Toyota.
Just 3 of the biggest luxury brands. Need I say more

The Hapanese car brands are far ahead of these rankings. 😂

its an American top 10 list or something like that...that might be why Honda isn't on the list

So the most reliable cars are imported cars. The least reliable cars in Australia are the import dumped American built cars, who would have thought that.
