Election changes to help those impacted by Hurricane Helene

North Carolina is changing some rules to help everyone vote.

With the elections around the corner, seems like everyone I know is backing Trump! But honestly, I'm more worried about the economic storm brewing in our backyard. Rent prices are skyrocketing, wages are stagnant, and 'shrink-flation' is the icing on the cake. On a personal note, I'm looking to invest $100k in a non-retirement account, need guide on the best strategies to consider?

They timed this storm just in time for the election.

They need to set up a virtual voting booth where people can call in verify their identity and cast their vote but it should only be done in the counties hardest hit and should be overseen by a bipartisan team and have a live feed set up to watch the votes being properly cast for each candidate. The feed should be made accessible to members of congress with security clearance so there’s no funny business going on

This is good but it looks like millions in Florida have to flee Milton and may not have homes or a place to vote also.

N C and FL are very important, as FL has gone red in the last few elections and polls show that N C would go red in this election. It's crazy to think about how just the right number of voters could be impacted to change the electoral map. Prayers to all impacted by Helene and those who will soon be by Milton.
