Share this article Share And Ronaldo then revealed that he had his own plans for black and white sneakers. Asked about whether he would look into releasing Juventus-coloured trainers with Nike, he replied: 'Definitely, yes. I didn't remember the shoes to be honest, the colour.'I have the opportunity of course to sign now for Juve. I'm very excited, very happy and very proud.'I had the opportunity already to speak with Nike to do the new shoes in these colours, black and white. I'm looking forward to that.' Ronaldo has become something of a social media sensation for his choice in trainers — but it has also been noticed that his son is a sneaker-head.  And the forward revealed: 'He loves it too. He copies me a little bit but it's good. He looks at me as a model, it's great. 'The taste is a little bit similar to me. It's my son, so I'm glad that he likes Nike too.' The former Manchester United man's upbringing on Madeira in Portugal is well-known. He only had two pairs of shoes — one for everyday life and the other to play football in.Even so, he suggested that difficult start to life has benefited him in his later years. He continued: 'It was good, difficult moments, but when you grow up in the difficult moments, the difference between to have a good life and normal life, I knew that. 'I do not regret nothing and I appreciate everything that happened in my life. 'Now I have the opportunity to buy any boot, so I'm blessed.'Ronaldo's achievements on the pitch include winning the Champions League in each of the last three seasons.He admitted that he still has some of the boots he wore on those particularly dramatic nights: 'I have a few ones of course, because my history, my legacy, you have to keep some memories. I keep some boots in my house, in my museum.' Ronaldo has been sponsored by Nike since 2003 and became the third athlete to sign a lifetime deal with the gear makers in November 2016.
