Russia had developed a stealth submarine that they claimed it could not detected. It went to sea for 3 weeks and during this time, a u.s sub was 500ft underneath it until it had to surface. The Russian sub did not even have the slightest clue it was there.

I was in the US Army from 2006 to 2014, and I have to say, this is based off of the information that is public, since the actual numbers and capabilities of our forces are classified. On my deployments to Iraq, we worked a lot with the British Army, and we loved you guys. I don't ever see us coming to blows again, especially since we've already had our war with you. The true power of of the US armed forces is staggering, and I hope we never have to use it on this scale.

Heard an interview with a Japanese pow captured early in the war, asked when he knew Japan lost the war he said when he was first captured. When asked to elaborate he said that when he was secured they had him sitting against a tank near the beach head. There was this overwelming smell that I couldn't get away from and didn't know where it was coming from till I finally turned and realized it was the paint on the tank. The USA had built painted and shipped a tank over before th paint had fully cured I knew then we had no chance of beating the USA.

I just found you on YouTube today and really enjoy your videos. I am a US Marine and served from ‘90-‘97. I had the honor and privilege back in 1993 to share an evening of fun with a couple of my fellow Marines and 3 British Royal Marines we met in the Bull and the Bear pub in HongKong. We downed a lot of beer, closed the pub and formed up in a column of twos outside and ran a few blocks through the city to the next bar, with cadence being sung by one of the Royal Marines. 28 years ago and that memory still fresh in my mind. What a great group of men from different countries, on foreign soil, coming together to celebrate our new friendship.

The partnership between the US and UK is so strong, unless one or the other needed to maintain neutrality in a conflict, US and UK forces would essentially function as extensions of each other, depending on the mission, beyond NATO, beyond any other partnership the US or any other nation has.

Regarding trade, the US Navy's primary mission is to maintain free access to global trade routes. A simple pull back of US global patrol alone, would have a massive effect on global trade. That same navy turning against all but US logistical trade operations would absolutely cripple the planet.

Exactly. Half the reason the US has such a huge military is to protect our allies. Allies for a reason.

The fact that there are non-military and capable marksmen (hunters and prepers) the military numbers at home at least double. So most of us would be coast and home guard and letting actual trained military to do the fighting abroad.
