From what im observing, without contact, when a defensive player cross-steps or the millisecond in the process of cross-steping is the moment you're looking for as an offensive player. Using their momentum as a disadvantage.

TIP if your opponent is running fast side by side, slow down because he's probably going to immediately stop and absolutely destroy your ankles beyond recognition. Also, try to develop a 3rd eye while guarding because it can and WILL make you a great defender.

"Used mainly when driving strongside" -- is that because it's the overloaded side so you're going to run into traffic and it makes sense to get yourself some space for an easy jumper instead? Or does that mean with your dominant hand? (since they then mention weak hand)
