Welcome to the Heavy Spoilers show, I'm your host Paul and this video we're breaking down the finale of Loki Season 2.

-

Episode 6 is now out on Disney plus and we've got a big video to talk about all the easter eggs, hidden details and comic callbacks. We also now know how this sets up the future of the MCu and a rough idea of where it could all be going for the upcoming films. I won't be covering The Marvels ending incase you haven't seen it but later on we might give some theories for Deadpool 3 and Avengers Secret Wars.

That will all be at the end of the video though and last week saw Loki getting the band back together to travel back to the loom in order to stop it from self destructing.

That takes us into this episode in which we get a lot of major revelations. For that final time I'm gonna need you to hit the thumbs up button and don't forget to subscribe because we still have a lot of comic content coming soon. With that out the way, huge thank you for clicking this, now let's get into The Loki Season 2 Finale.

-

Now as always we begin with the marvel studios logo however here somethings different. Rather than progressing

Why I felt sad for Loki? He ended up alone, which was the last thing he wanted yet he achieved his glorious purpose 😢

*Loki's real glorious purpose was to save Marvel & MCU both as a story & company*

He said to Sylvie “the LAST thing I want is a throne!”

Which is exactly what happens, he sacrificed himself to control the timelines sitting on the throne at the end of time

Loki's arc was so well executed by Hiddleston, but it was only because writers did such an incredible job putting together such an engaging story.
So many great stories begin with the question, "Who am I?"
This series answered that in such a magnificent fashion for our beloved Loki

I'm amazed you didn't mention the part where Loki says to Sylvie and Mobius "For you, for all of us" before heading to the Loom, mirroring when he said those exact words to Odin in the 1st Thor movie, but for completely different reasons and motivation.
Goes to show how much Loki has evolved.

To me THIS is what Marvel needs to be!!! Fantastic show with just the perfect balance of drama, storytelling, humor, vfx, and character development. MORE OF THIS PLEASE!!

When Thanos said “ the hardest choices require the strongest will” I felt that in this episode. This finale was absolutely heartbreaking and so incredible at the same time. Loki did really fulfill his glorious purpose. And this quote from thanos just sum it up for me

i just wanna point out that no matter what happens in Jonathon majors personal life, his performance in this series is outstanding, in one instance your rooting for him in victor timely, everyone genuinally gets behind him when hes succesful and then you see him show his true persona to loki and he killed it there, absolutely sinister how he made fun of timely and you hate him.... and then your realize its the same person, brilliant.

The whole Loki TV series proves that when Marvel tries, they can create something truly amazing. The issue is lately, they have been lacking. A1 ending to the season. Tom and team killed it!

I liked the part where Loki tells Sylvie not to trust him and then says, “Believe me!”

Loki is the best series Disney has put out altogether. Both seasons failed to disappoint and Tom Hiddleston is easily one of the best actors I’ve ever seen. His range is incredible. To create a character as dynamic as Loki, exhibiting every emotion from joy to pain, in a manner that is suitable for children and also captures adults is unmatched. Of all the series from marvel to Star Wars Loki is by far the best Ive seen from Disney in a while

We forget- one of Lokis gifts is that he can multiply himself and Astro project himself to places when he actually isn’t there. Loki can both be apart of helping everyone while his ORIGINAL body stays on the throne!! Loki isn’t alone and we’ll see him again

I was thinking of how OP Loki was in the last episode when he could finally control his time-slipping. And I wondered how Marvel would deal with having a character with such godly powers. This finale answered it really brilliantly.

What an episode, what a season, what a character. 100% best MCU show on Disney+!

LOKI literally holds the Multiverse (MCU Franchise) all in his hands!

I'm guessing that the reason Renslayer was so quick to prune that child while Mobius froze was because she'd already let Sylvie go and was trying to compensate for her mistake

what makes this story so powerful is knowing this was the Loki who smiled as he forcibly extracted an eyeball from a human.... and now he smiles as he becomes the reason why his friends and literally every living being will be able to continue to fight for their lives.

I gotta say, the ending is really profound when you think about it. Loki's desire for a throne, now fulfilled by his sacrifice. When it was mentioned that what makes "Loki a Loki is that they are destined to lose", the episode pointed Loki back each and every time to his inescapable destiny where he had to lose himself, now burdened with glorius purpose for all time in to keep everything together.

I loved Loki's growth throughout all this. The first season was him accepting who he was, and then trying to figure out who he'd want to be. Season 2 is the realization of who he has to be. Like he told Sylvie they are gods. And as he told Sylvie before he went out he knows what type of god he has to be. Not one seeking power to impose his iron will because he's owed it, but making the sacrifices to spare everyone to protect them. Even the detail of Loki's fear is being alone, yet here accepts he has to leave his friends behind. Such a great show
