Hey Tom, just for some reference to driving over the speed limit. In Victoria at least (not sure about elsewhere), you can drive at 3 kph over the limit no matter what the speed zone is. I know this because when you receive a speeding fine, your 'alleged speed' is always 3 kph below your detected speed. E.G. detected driving at 66 in a 60 zone, your alleged speed will be 63 - you will get a fine. Detected driving at 63 in a 60 zone, your alleged speed is 60 - you won't get a fine. I always set my speed at 3 km over the limit and I have done this for years, even on freeways with the point-to-point speed cameras, with no problems at all. Great to see Tesla has this option..

Hey, have you checked if it is possible to combine the Autopilot Current Speed Setting with the long press down so that the car switches to the speed limit that it got from the map data / cameras?

Thanks Tom for great videos. I find that the AP speed does NOT change as I travel in AP through various speed limits. Do you and other find the same? This is the improvement I've been waiting for so I find this update very disappointing!

Thumbs down because you didn’t test if the autopilot changes speed at a new speed limit zone. Oh well, I’ll test it myself tomorrow
