I like it how this safety video shows the impacts of trying to take carry-on bags when evacuating an aircraft in an emergency. Imo, every safety video should visually show that.

I’m impressed when the flight attendant commanded with stern authority (without smiling unlike other airlines’ video) to “Leave your baggage when you evacuate!” with the visual use of two hands to reaffirm such stern authority!

This is genuinely a better safety video than any I've seen before - it's not trying to be "fun" or include famous actors (BA, we're looking at you), but emphasises the instructions. Being clear about leaving bagage behind and how to use the slides is more and better information than other airlines. JAL, gold star for you - whoever made this safety video deserve part of the credit for JAL 516 having the outcome that it did.

Best pre flight safety demonstration I’ve ever seen. The inclusion of passengers NOT following instructions makes all the difference; e.g. passengers tripping over bags and having difficulty sliding down the escape tube.. seatbelt not buckled? You’re going to slam into the seat in front of you or get catapulted to the ceiling instantly.

The airline industry would be better served if they change the name of Flight Attendants/Stewards to Flight Protectors/Monitors. These folks deserve a name that promote respect.

This should be a necessary video to watch on all airlines. so many times we are not able to hear or see the attendant while they are verbally presenting the directions. Passengers are rude with talking over the attendant - also hard to see the attendant over people's heads. Very informative video. Thank you.
