I've used Popsockets for wall art, I made my front door into a red carpet runway, I made a fur wall in my hallway, and I turned my kitchen into.... outside? As a past employee of a retailer who sold this fabric, the best way to cut it is by just cutting only the backing, with very small snips, without cutting the pile. It is possible if you have a flat surface and a sharp pair of scissors. The advantages to this are you don't have and real mess of the fibres being cut off along with the pile isn't jagged on the edges. You did an amazing job though.

I just told my husband I need $750ish. He grimaced but said why. He woulda said sure honey if it weren’t for the reason of my now wanting to cover a wall in pop sockets so I could push them in and out lol! I love the wall idea! It’s pretty and fun!

Secondary tip would be using the old overhead projector trick for tracing logos on a wall. Back in grade school (90s kid), if we ever had to draw a detailed picture of something for a project we were allowed to use the overhead projector to project the picture onto the white board. Than trace the picture onto paper taped to the board. If you had a Bluetooth projector you could do the same thing with a laptop. I know all of this is redundancy after the fact, but it triggered a fond memory I figured I'd share. Stay rad!
