LOGIC X TIP: How To Import Tracks From Other Sessions & Rescue Corrupt Files

Just saved my life. I had a corrupt project and it would crash every time I tried to open it or the autosave. Used media browser to import all tracks and other info into a new project and it has recreated the track just as it was. Perfect.

Had a project that started acting funny last night. The copy/copy and drag was going crazy. I would drop a region and it would just appear someplace else or on to of other regions in random locations. It was a nightmare. I opened a new project, imported all of the individual tracks using this method, including all of the busses. It works perfectly with no problems. Thanks!

Oh, so a project CAN get corrupted! It happened to me about twice and I was so confused. My cavern kit was making orchestral kit sounds and it was terrible. This video was great, thanks!

I’ve lost a some tracks from ez drummer. 3 separate percussion. I hadn’t created a waveform in my daw. They were just playing from ez drummer software. They’ve disappeared and was wondering if this would work for this situation? Thanks

I got to select all whatever you want to import all on my own. (What this video covers). What I want to know is HOW DO YOU ACTUALLY MOVE THE The thing says drag audio files into the tracks and regions area but when I try to drag what I have selected over there NOTHING HAPPENS!

sir, excuse me, when I import audio track from other project, logic pro asks me to click" add all "or" ok" button about aux information. which one should I choose?

Its not working for me. I click add and it says" reduce the number of tracks to create."
I change it to one track and get the same box.
