Avian Knives are the ones who came out with the Atlas and followed up with the Atlas V2, just a CQI version of the original Atlas. The Atlas has no hardware and is able to be taken apart by moving around interlocking parts and completely disassembled without any tools. Avian is a reference to birds and takes notes from their strong, hollow bones allowing flight. Topaza is a genus of two species of hummingbirds found in the forests of the Amazon. I seen that conversation too about custom knife designer's not liking YouTube knife designers. But I haven't seen a knife design or knife from a YouTuber that I haven't liked or that has got a bad review. But there's been plenty of designers like Liong Mah that have had plenty of problems with knives and have gotten bad reviews!

I have the Niko with the copper foil carbon fiber. Took the plastic belt loop off and in the trash it went, and put on an ulti clip and it disappears into my pocket. That new Jack wolf I love but it’s so expensive and maybe I can find a second.

I agree that larger knife channels should take a swing at making at least one of their own knifes, the problem I have is when this random channel with a large following and no real clue about knifes wants to make their own because it can be a good business idea.

I have a sharpening question. I understand the reason to have and the point behind a sharpening choil. I u derstand that you want room between it and the plunge grind. What do you do with something like the pm2 and how do you know how far you can go with it?

Stones with right angle edges work well for Spydercos and other blades with little to no sharpening choil. That’s my solution.
But with knives like those you kinda have to deal with it, or you can get an awkward finished edge.

I take à chance😅 you did à comparaison with the three version of Civivi Vision the WE version, the Civivi Damascus and the Nitro V. In your test, the WE failed, the Damascus failed but not the Nitro V. For the Civivi, do you have a kind of explanation of why the Damascus failed and not the Nitro V ? Strange it's the same knife 🤔 Thank you
