What I Wish I Knew: First Week of Medical School (+ Reaction)

So, I wanted to do a few things in one video and I potentially executed it in this one (you can be the judge of that). I had been wanting to react to my "First Week of Medical School" vlog since I just finished my first year of medical school. To spice it up, I pause every now and then to react AND give advice/recommendations to incoming first-year medical students.

It's honestly crazy how much you've grown as a person, as a youtuber/videographer/editor, and as a student!! Watching you watch yourself (if that makes sense haha) is like watching a completely different and more mature person and it's so awesome to see that growth because it's what makes you the red ant you are now!!❤🐜

Hey Rachel, I just want to let you know much you've helped me get through my anxiety getting into medical school. I was casually watching med vlogs when I stumbled on yours. Coincidentally, I pieced two and two together and realized I am actually gonna be going to the same school you're at (just knew from the website/how the school looked). I am incredibly excited and happy when I found out I was accepted to my dream school but I've also developed anxiety about starting because of how difficult it is. But watching you grow and especially knowing you're in the same school I'll be at gave me so much strength. It is hard, I know that but your growth through this journey has been so amazing! I'm excited to start my journey into medical school as a red ant! Congratulations on finishing your first year!

It's crazy how much growth happens over one year of medical school. Even now, I feel like I study differently for each exam and each block despite feeling like I had it figured out in the fall. Be proud of yourself! You've been an inspiration for so many.
