Good video unfortunately mine failed after two years and it looks like it was the USB that was causing all the lights to flicker on and stay on so I had to literally open it up and disconnect the USB in order to use it just as a monitor, but even then it started making some noise and became useless. If you're reading this, I would pass on the big knob because this is the second one I've gotten, and surely after two years they just fail, probably because they overheat.

Are the 1/2 mic outputs of this card suitable for recording electric guitar with DAW VST amplifiers? I did not find a Hi-Z mode, and I do not like the tone, too much background noise and distortion

Try normalizing or compressing the vocal to increase the volume, when I record vocals also the volume is too low, so I have to edit the recording with Adobe Audition, normilize, compress or sometimes just increasing the gain on the main window, then performing an adaptive noise removal

The reason why the output signal is low because that SM7B needs a boost the cloudlifter the mackie cant push it. Question can you use this without the usb, in just an analog mode??

Whats up man, I'm running Pro Tools with this Mackie Big Knob interface and everytime I turn on direct monitoring in Pro Tools, both mic signals sound robotic or autotuny, what can be the the cause of that?

Do u know how to fix vsts disappearing in cakewalk and crashing when loading other projects with them
