It's amazing to me that people dont yet realize that they are not actually voting

I thought our American election system and political system was too narrow and broken. But now I see that the French system is Byzantine and designed to ensure the Status Quo remains intact. Sheer gridlock.

Notice how anything not liberal or communistic is "far right", but when their party is addressed, it's just the "left." 😄

Turns out, the loudest in the room aren’t always the favorite. Some people go harm and then speak their peace. Just like in the voting booth.

Where is the party wise breakdown of seats won and percentage of votes secured?

The French People have spoken. They need to respect their vote and if the dominant party is now the far left, they should adopt their policies more. There is nothing wrong with this.

This is why you cannot have competitive partisan modes of assembly! You will never get the composition that you need to operate a legislative assembly to reach a majority consensus! The majority is not formed by assembly to determine composition and control of the legislative assembly, we are trying to reach a majority consensus of all the members of a legislative assembly. HUGE DIFFERENCE.

By the way, the government must be formed in a manner which establishes continuity and stability, it cannot be reformed after every partisan election!

Maybe gridlock might be a good thing for France. It might allow things to stabilize for a time. Also, if anything needs to be done, it truly has to be bi partisan. No super majority means no one party can do whatever they want and make rapid drastic changes.

Who knows? We shall see...
