Sometimes, people get abused, and that keeps them on the submissive path of being abused, in the future. Sometimes, however, people become the abuser, and while their past trauma is a great explanation as to why they do what they do, now, it’s still not ok.

People make mistakes but they need to be held accountable for their actions and then make active changes to never make that mistake, again.
