I can't agree with you about the portraits. I'm on NOS 2.5.1 Even from 2.0 I have been really impressed with the portrait shots and I take them mostly at 2x. Also a quick tip would be to use the depth of field to something around f2.8. And then use google photos to change the blur later. Nothing captures depth info which google photos uses to replace default blur with Google's blur. That makes the photo even better. Even without google photos the portraits are really good and even normal photos. Just keep the blur effect believable. The only problem that I face is with HDR handling the blown-out areas in some selfies or rear cam photos.

I had the touch problem but after getting the os update 2.5 it has fixed, now it is completely working smooth and I have also changed the tempered glass which I have purchased from gadget shield.

i am also facing this issue where quick setting widget doesn't work on homepage, especially mobile data button. you have to click on mobile data from notification menu for it to start working again which defeats the purpose of quick setting widgets in the first place...and support is so great that when i submit this in feedback they reply me with automated msg to visit service center like its a device centric issue, just wow.

I am facing this issue form the day 1 i bought nothing Phone 2.. The glyphs works properly while receiving calls on mobile network .. but the calls on whatsapp makes all the glyph lights to work on their own ... and it's still there even after 2.5.1a update😢...

I agree with techibee, the cameras are worst, during night time the camera becomes so unusable that it can't capture big hoardings of hotel names, it's worst I can say, this is the only reason I sometimes repent going with this device, apart from this all other are perfect expect the pricing of course. I can easily say I won't repeat my next phone from Nothing for sure now.

I liked the update so far. But seeing a bug where in light mode, pulling the quick settings panel on lockscreen, the bottom part where notifications are is black. When trying to expand the quick settings, transition is in light color but then it is black again

6:13 💯....is there any way to let this know to nothing team . In normal mode pictures are artificial, portraits are too bad as you said and videography is worst 😢

There Are two things i am observing
1. The color applied is not getting applied to notification pull down menu
2. The screen time is shown from the last full charge to 100% and not from the last charge.
Is it how it is this is stable build from phone 2

Man I don't want to deal with bugs and all anymore.
I've been a young lad who used to flash new roms every week with my Lg optimus, redmi note 3 and Asus Zenfone max pro m1.

Now I have a job and other responsibilities, hence I want something stable.

Please recommend me an Android phone which has good camera with OIS video, good battery backup and smooth ui. Also call recording is needed, hence why I can't go with iPhone.

There is a bug in Battery usage statistics after update to Android 14... SOT keeps changing... For eg sometimes it shows 7hr 30 min and when we again check after 10 mins or what it shows 6hr 20min like that... They really need to fix this bug..
Anyway The battery backup is pretty decent after the update too

Nothing really need to fix camera. After os 2.5 update they ruined battery life and overheating issue also arrived. Anyways the software is still smoother than oneplus and Sammy

4:13 on Android 13 it's always above 7 hours of SOT ...now it's downgraded 😢

4:26 this bug was happening for me with HDFC Bank application, couple of restarts and it's fixed now. Also screen-stuck issue is happening now, only notification drawer is responsive everything else doesn't respond. ( NP2, 2.5.1 build)
