Its not the fact that the apartment is shit, its the fact that dogtown is a no man's land in almost every sense of the word

I love the North Side apartment for role play reasons. After the failed heist, my V always goes to that place to hide out in low key surroundings. It's perfect for what it is; a cozy techno dive in a neighborhood in which no one will look for you.

Honestly wish they put more effort into the apartments tbh, there really is no point to choose anything but the original(for your cat, iquana, and quest collectables) besides the Glen and Corporate Plaza ones(for the coffee buff). The Dogtown one is a BIG disappointment because it doesn't even have a functioning shower despite the codexes mentioning having a rain collector and makeshift heater for the bathroom.

The glen is the best one overall; its the one id choose IRL, but i gotta admit the view from the dogtown one is awesome

The only reason i bought japan town apartment is because i could play the guitar like i am so kind of a dumbass that cannot carry a guitar and a speaker to my apartment

I like The Glen apartment the most. The elevator ride had me doubting with the graffiti. But the inside is perfect.

I liked how they added inviting ur partner over but I wish you could do more. We never got it from release which made the whole romance thing feel like a chore and super dry but aye I’m not mad at the new feature 🤷🏽‍♂️

Bro I just recently romanced Kerry and I thought it would be funny to invite him to dogtown. I was pissing myself when I saw him say in so many words "fuck to the no". I had no idea that he would turn it down and it made the experience totally worth it. When you caught by surprise in a game it makes the experience all the more worthwhile, doubly so if it pulls a double bluff of you expecting something to happen but expecting the game to do game things and go the other way. I was fully expecting Kerry to turn me down but also expected the game to simply accept coming to Dogtown because that's what a game would do, then I get hit with a curveball of the game doing exactly what I expected when it wouldn't.

The bedroom in Dogtown is the worst part of it because you literally can't see anything in it at night due to the lack of any lights.

Well, yeah...the DogTown hideout is literally a dump [I was sorry Mr. Hands never offered V a nicer place.] Northside is pretty low-rent, but anyplace that's dry, warm and clean isn't too bad, even if it isn't a chick magnet [guys won't care]. I like the Japantown apartment...it has a lot of boho charm, although the activity of companions you invite over is indeed limited.

The Northtown apartment is literally just a safehouse and the Japantown apartment would have been a great crashpad during the six months skip after the prologue even though V is clearly shown as living with Jackie and Momma Welles.
