As a fellow SDA, I just want to say that I appreciate your boldness and hope that you continue to stay rooted in christ. There are some of us who don't reject you here

As a fellow SDA, I totally respect that you’re gay and I respect everything about gay. The only thing is I have a few mixed feelings about gay sex though as the Bible says a man shalt not lie with another man

What a sacred space we would create if we can leave our self-righteous indignation at the door and come to a conversation with an open ear and a loving heart. An open ear listens without assumptions and predications; a loving heart does not condemn.

Pushka, thank you for sharing your story and your thoughts. Others, rather than the traditional clobber-text response, take a moment to be vulnerable and ask yourself, "What is the story of MY life, and how am I making the world a better place?"

So you feel that God made you this way. I feel you made a choice. God loves and will forgive you just make a choice to deny self and follow him. I bring this msg with love that you will be in the kingdom. But it does come down to a choice.. Choose God or choose self..

I am a devout Roman Catholic. I love my Church, I defend my Church right down to the letter all the time, for many dislike Roman Catholicism; I actually used to be a King James Bible Baptist and they don't believe Catholicism is Christian; the YouTube videos of Bishop Fulton J. Sheen aided in my conversion. I believe in the inerrancy of the Scriptures, and I pray the Rosary everyday. I listen to traditional hymns for fun in my free time haha. And I am gay as can be! It is a struggle for me, because I try to follow my Church's teaching devoutly, but at the same time yearn for romantic companionship...just to snuggle and cuddle in bed with my love would be heavenly to me...but praying the Rosary is also heavenly to me, too...many times I am torn but I would never leave my Church or urge my Church to change her teachings just to suit me. At the same time, my sexuality is not like a switch that can be turned off, it is a part of me. I believe God gave me this cross to carry for a reason. I have contemplated making a video about my struggles, but finding the right words is difficult...

be proud of who you are. you dont need to change at all. if you are gay then you are gay and nothing will change that. be proud of this. dont let anybody tell you who you are or who you have to be to fit in with their belief systems. you are you. you tell THEM who you are not the other way round. hope this makes a bit of sense. you get the picture i hope. :)

I have so much respect for you. This is an incredible video and I think people who are having difficulty coming to terms with their sexuality should definitely see this. For myself, I'm completely female, body, brain, and in terms of who I'm attracted to.

Your are so very brave. As an Adventist with SSA myself, I applaud your honesty and forthrightness. I hope you have been able to move forward in love. God bless.

Dearest Mr B, The kind hearted, gentle spirited boy from high school. How complicated life has become since then huh? From a fellow SDA... have no reason to hammer you or judge! NOTHING BUT LOVE FROM ME. Cant throw no stones because I should probably throw them at myself first! Lol.

Thank you for your honesty. Wouldn't it be nice if we could all be as honest as you, not just in the area of sexuality, but in all areas of our lives. I think most of us are uncomfortable with being transparent on who we really are, because we fear being judged and isolated or mistreated. Keep your eyes fixed on Christ; we shall be all changed in the twinkling of an eye, ALL, not just some. Because we all need to be made new.

Thank you for sharing the video. I am sure it's difficult to tell everyone when we are not what they expect us to be. You seem to be kind and honest and that's important. Being authentic and honest it's a sign of respect to yourself, others and to God. May God of unimaginable love be with you and guide you. He loves you.

I didn't know that we have so many gays in sda church. I'm straight not a gay. I got to acknowledge your struggle battling with sin. For I am struggling with my sins and carnal nature. I believe that if the Bible points something as sin that is true. Let us pray and seek the help to overcome. My fellow sinners let us behold the lamb of which takes away the sins of the world.

So God help us to submit to your will.

I didn't want to repeat all this many many times to everyone I know, and also wanted to encourage others out there in the world on the internet ~ and also speak to young people in my life that are hiding things, that might not ever talk to me in person about their issues, they can watch these videos anonymously at home, and see that I've gone through issues too, and I got through, so can they ~ ~
