i hardly even use twitter, but removing the handle is probably the silliest thing you can do. especially with fake accounts.

This is what happens when a designer tries to reorganise the layout of an app they don't use. Without the handle, Twitter is impossible to navigate

This just would force you into checking the profile of someone each time you see a tweet just to make sure it's the real person...

As someone who dabbles in design, the handle is necessary, IMO. It's a clear distinction to show its YOUR account, pushing the whole motive for Twitter in expressing yourself (for better or for worse)

Everything else seems fine for organization sake, but it definitely lacks any personality. But it's also important to not be overly cluttered

Not making the @ handle visible is a TERRIBLE idea considering you can set your display name to whatever you want, and can ALWAYS change it whenever you want as well. Not to mention that people’s display names are often different than their actual name/@ handle username. Not only would this make impersonating someone even easier, but it would also cause a TON of needless confusion as to who is who.
