Toontown on a nintendo switch?

Sounds like a dream that came true

I like this discussion. I really want to make my own discussion video about it. But what it comes down to is...
Toontown 2 on PC/Console = Yes Good I'm Excited
Toontown 2 on Mobile = No I'm not excited.
But I loved hearing what you had to say. :)

Wow! Maybe TTR will finish their game before a second Toontown is released. Am I allowed to dream?

man that sounds dreamy. toontown on the switch I would gladly pay for it and play it with my friends at home or pretty much anywhere but the chances are 1 in a million at least we can dream though

You should make more Toontown Mysteries. I think a cool one would be on where cogs went when they fly away on streets.

Something that we also need to bring up is that Disney needs money, so they of course need to implement micro transactions. Micro transactions won't be very successful, because private servers like Project Altis are free to download, so they won't have much of a large playerbase. Unless they buy or trademark Toontown private servers, they can't possibly regain members. They could improve stability or add new content for as much as they want, but the fact of the matter is private servers are free. If we are talking about the significant changes on a mobile device, then a Toontown 2 will not last very long. I use a Remote Desktop for Project Altis via Android, but the game is a bit laggy. An entire sequel will be slower than a turtle, so they have to remove or replace some features. But if they do the latter, then newcomers think that this is how Toontown works and veterans will be disappointed about the entire change in gameplay. I like Project Altis because the changes they make don't mess up the strategy that's already put in place, and they make it better without it feeling gimicky. Anyways, Toontown for mobile must have a balance of both decent FPS and loyalty/vanilla-ness, which they MUST sacrifice in order to make a sequel work. And hitting that borderline is pretty tough, kind of like humor in memes. Maybe the lag and change would be excused if Toontown 2 was ported to other platforms, but I seriously doubt that it could last an entire month. I think I'll just stick with TTPA (which I'm sure I mentioned like three times now) because I won't get into corporate risk. Another splendid video Loopster

Honestly, I think if toontown ever goes mobile, it'd have to be a mini game type of toontown.. You could earn a few jellybeans or merits/cogbucks/jury notices/stock options.. but it wouldn't be reliable enough to complete your suit levels.

I don't think a mobile only Toontown would work. A companion app where we can play trolley games on the go an earn jelly beans would be great, but the game itself needs to be on PC. Toontown on The Switch is a fantastic idea and i'm sure Nintendo would love to have it since they need more third party developers. Finally I am not opposed to micro transactions as long as they stay vanity only or at the very least don't limit gameplay like mobile games with an energy system.

Ok ok ok ok, it would be nice for Nintendo switch to have Toontown, but then, what about those who *DON'T* have a switch?

I wouldn't want it on mobile either, but you seem to be underestimating the power of modern day cell phones. Keep in mind when Disney had toontown and it was actually optimized, it could run on machines running windows 98. modern day cell phones could easily run it if properly optimized.

At least the moderation and support would be ran by an actual company.

A Toontown sequel means more toons to make squeal.

I think the whole "toontown" thing is one of those games where they just die eventually, no matter how much content is made. Upsetting, really.

I wouldn't mind the original Toontown Online on the Switch.
