You may not like it but Minus8 is undeniably notable in the history of animation as being one who was at the forefront of puppet and cutout keyframed animation.

For those who aren’t familiar with puppet/cutout- this is the same style of animation as Bigmouth or Paradise PD. This *is* the quality of animation you could have but don’t. For the most part that’s no fault of any animator on a team, just the boring monotony of some loser at a desk looking at something and going “that’s not what it’s supposed to look like. We wanna look like Family Guy, Family Guy is successful”

I always wondered what those black dots on their wool are 🤔

The logical answer is nipples but they're not exactly placed right or symmetrical and being an animator means that shit is NOT accidental. Especially not for such an experienced one.

If they are supposed to be nips then I dont know how this video has managed to stay up but I'm so glad it has 😂
